Meet Le coq Sportif's new brand ambassador, William Mokgopo who is a pro mountain biker, student and motivational speaker. He is a young professional MTB cyclist whose interest in cycling was sparked by the «Earn-a-bike» project and was further developed by the Diepsloot Mountain Bike Academy (DMA). 


The DMA is a non-profit organization that does a community upliftment program through cycling. William is still a mentor to the DMA since he became a professional mountain biker. He has a long list of achievements, to mention a few; he represented the country at the International UCI MTB World Championship events since 2013 and through his Kargo Pro MTB Team he became the Gauteng XCO (2014) U23 and Elite (2015) Men’s Champion. He hopes to one day represent South Africa at the Olympics.

This February saw the Imprint ZA x Millé Africa collaboration take to the runway at South African Menswear Week AW16. The partnership arrived at an opportune moment when both brands were gearing up to launch their up coming seasonal styles.


Imprint ZA, showcasing for the third time on the leading menswear platform presented a collection that moved between a nomad and urban guy who pushed the boundaries of gender perceptions with fashion. 



A collection treated in blue prints, sunset and desert hues and solids in creams and whites was complemented by the partnership with Millé Africa on footwear, closing each look with a dose of high quality, comfortable and stylish sneakers in tan and camel.


The Imprint ZA x Millé Africa collaboration for SAMW AW16 brought a fresh take on nomadic Africans to fashion week and encouraged a brave new man living in a brave new world.
