URBAN OUTFITTERS / REPUBLIC BIKE INC, THE ARISTOTLE V1.5

It may seem strange that a clothing company would get into the custom bike racket, but with the trend of bikes becoming an extension of one’s look and style, Urban Outfitters may just be ahead of the curve. Created in partnership with Republic Bike Inc, by visiting Bikes.urbanoutfitters.com users can easily customize a basic Aristotle v1.5 single speed bike in a variety of ways to make it their own.

Other components of the bike include: a Sugino crankset, Wellgo pedals, a painted chain, and 110mm grips. In terms of looks and build, buyers can select their frame size, and intuitively customize the colors of the seat, handle bars, frame, tires, rims, and pedals. Once you’re done sorting out the details, for $399 ( R4930,78 ).

Republic Bike Inc. will build 90% of the bike, box it up in a heavy weight shipping carton, and ship it directly to your door. When it arrives you’ll have to attach the pedals, front wheel, handlebars, and do some basic ride adjustments.
